Outstanding performance by Maren Morris a young lady with an incredible
voice, amazing stage presence and an old soul for
maybe one good o'll'
country tune or two.
Maren
is not long for the likes of this one horse town : look out
Nashville here comes a fast ball right down the middle.
Other great acts included the Josh Weathers Band,
River crest Yacht Club, JZ & Dirty Pool, Katsuk, Goodwin (Possibly
the best pop band ever to come out of the Dallas/Fort Worth
area. Goodwin's
unforgettable tunes stick in your mind like peanut butter to the
roof of your mouth. With songs like "Matt's Letter" and "This
Time" Goodwin has stood the test of time with songs like" March"
. Proving that they are one of DFW's pop rock
leaders . P.S. not all good things come in a Bendel not to be
confused with a bushel.)
Black Tie
Dynasty, Pablo & the Hemphill Seven (They be from Texas man, and
everything's gonna be alright !) Collin Herring, and Stella
Rose just to name a few. Once again the Fort Worth weekly has
brought
to us a fun filled day of great music spread throughout the
downtown Fort Worth
area. This is a good example to dallas of the power of love and music
bringing the city together.
Thanks to all the bars that participated and once again, thanks to the
Fort Worth Weekly for hosting this stellar event. We look forward
to next year.
